What is exactly is a signing service? And what is the difference between a signing service and signing agent database? Signing services are companies that market themselves to escrow companies, mortgage companies and real estate agents to fulfill their loan signing appointments. You can think of the signing service as a broker. They act as the middleman between the people that have loan signings (escrow officers, mortgage officers, and real estate agents), and people that can do loan signings (notary public loan signing agents). Click on the link below to find out how to get signings from signing services AND signings directly from Escrow Officers. Learn how to make $75 to $200 per appointment part time on your own schedule using the Loan Signing System. Become a loan signing agent and use your notary public commission to make extra money. You didn't say how you get listed in the Signing Agent Database.
The signing service pays you
Hi Mark, I have a few questions about working for signing service as a notary agent:
1. Will an agent get a good deal of requests in their area, even if they do not live in a city, but in a suburb or rural area?
2. Is there even a way to request work that is only close to where you live so that you keep travel to a minimum while still getting a decent amount of work?
3. Is there also a way to get a decent amount of work through the lets say late morning and afternoon on weekdays? (I ask because in my case I have alot more time available so I would like to potentially maximize the number of assignments I would get through the week with signing services)
4. As for potentially making mistakes from time to time being a notary how many of them would actually lead to legal action against you especially if you work for a signing service?
5. About how effective in general is the 100k E/O insurance policy for dealing with the total cost of legal disputes that an agent may encounter, basically is it enough?
How often does the Signing Service update a change of address in the database? I was thinking of becoming a Traveling Notary Public, because I'm having to move every 3-6 months, sometime to different counties in the state of Texas.
Excellent!
