  1. When I met with my tax accountant to help set up my business, the first thing she said to me was "tell me when you're active [I was still waiting on my state license to be approved] because I need someone local to refer my customers to." She even offered to put my info on her website. Right out the gate and I already have a reference!

  2. Hello! I have a question. I was recently looking for a notary in my town and had a really hard time finding one I had to end up going to my lawyer. And I want to be able to stay at home and run my own business so I thought this was a nice option for me and also to add the loan signing agent aspect of it. But if you’re just a public notary it says that you can only charge two dollars in the state of New York but this is not what other notaries were giving as a price so I’m just wondering what that means? Thanks!

  3. Thank you for this invaluable information. As a new notary in Maryland, I found this video very informative, encouraging, and priceless. I am seeking a mentor so if someone would like to mentor a new notary, please reach out.

  4. I TELL NO ONE THAT I AM A NOTARY. I DON'T HAVE TO. I WORK WITH NATIONAL CLOSING SERVICES THAT SEND ME PLENTY OF BUSINESS. ALL OF THIS OTHER STUFF IS A WASTE OF TIME..AND WHAT DOES IT PAY YOU, THIS ISN'T A COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR FREE
