I'm so glad that you mentioned the "call center" environment. As an introvert, that is one of the most difficult things for me with doing RON. You have to make small talk with people all day. In reality, you just want to get them on and off of the call as quickly as possible. Some people are lonely and want to talk though.

Is Georgia an attorney state?

So true! Idk about any where else but in Arkansas they only allow certain platforms, training and platforms seem to be expemsive from what I have seen.

Great info!

RON–Remote online notary.
1. Not available in all states. Make sure it is legal in your states.
2. A good working knowledge of computers and software and be able to explain it to your customer
3. Many platforms to choose from, so do your research.
4. You must have the proper equipment and must be trained
5. Must be fast because this field is competitive.
6. You still must market yourself–it's not just you sitting there waiting for calls
7. You must be RON Trained. Don't take training from just anybody. Do your research!
8. Similar to a call center environment, so ask yourself if that is for you.
