Notary Mobile Office

Notary Mobile Office

A notary is a government official authorized to witness signatures on documents. Notaries are often public officials, and the term "notary public" does not imply that the person is mobile, although many notaries are indeed mobile; for example, Georgia has over 1900 notaries who work out of their homes.

The most common reason for a mobile notary service is to serve people who would otherwise have difficulty getting to a notary office. Another reason is to provide convenience. But mobility also includes working at special events such as fairs and festivals where large numbers of people may need document signing services.

Mobile notaries are moving offices; they have to be self-sufficient, so they take everything they need, including furniture, phones and even printers and copiers. Mobile offices can be set up in hotel rooms or production trailers or even on boats.

Mobile notary officers may use a car as an office or they may travel with equipment in an RV or campervan that doubles as an office.

Mobile offices can perform many other functions in addition to notarizing documents, including legal counsel and real estate closings and sales. They can also perform marriage ceremonies.

In the past, notaries were only called when a document needed to be signed in front of a witness and acknowledged by a signature and seal. Nowadays, we are switching to "mobile" notaries who do not need an office. We are able to provide witnesses and legal documents at any location (home, hospital, etc.).

All documents we prepare are guaranteed in writing for your protection. Our staff has been bonded, licensed and insured according to Georgia law and our company is fully registered with the Secretary of State.
