Hello everyone! I made a mistake in the video. I want to clarify that you put "Authorized Agent" and not notary public. You use the companies address and not your address. I apologize for any confusion and will upload a new video soon.
It would help to see you fill out the documents. Thanks for the video.
Hi, Only Immigration Consultants can verify I9 in California, it's an immigration form, and notaries are not allowed in California to verify I9. Thank you
Hy maam if the authorized representative or employer is husband and husband is not having citizenship but green card, does green card holding husband can be authorized representative or employer?
The NNA hotline told me that the employee can't just ask any notary to do it, that the EMPLOYER needs to ask me to act as their authorized agent. Is this true? Thank you for the video!
Very helpful, thank you
Very informative, very clear on how to process I-8 verification
Thank you thank you π
I read you are not suppose to put notary public as your title. Should put as an authorized representative.

Great video. What if you donβt have a business address?
Hi, do you have e-sign software for the I-9 to be online, or just a fillable pdf? Thank you.
Thank you, I will be doing my 2nd one tomorrow. I had to get a review.
Great info! ππ½
Thank you so much this helped! I was just asked to do this from a signing service.
I did find the following from NNA because I didn't think we were supposed to use Notary Public as our title when not doing notorial acts.
This is what NNA says:
The authorized representative does not perform a notarization or affix a Notary seal to the I-9, since they are not acting as an official Notary Public. In the title field in Section 2, the Notary should write βauthorized representative"
Is it just a state variable?
Question: An employer requested that I obtain an authorized representative on their behalf to fill section 2 out. Iβm not use to the procedure and irs sites clearly states thatβs the employers task. Does this procedure sound normal?
Hey quick question what is an βaluslyβ certificate?
I a newbie notary thanks for the tips super nervous
I thought we used Authorized Agent and not Notary Public in our title. Info is great. Thanks
For the business address, is that our business address of the notary? Also, what about the employer or organization name? Is that our notary business name?
