$500?! I’m a notary/ loan signing agent even with travel $500 makes no sense 😅. But in my experience, most banks don’t have loan signing agents and won’t sign those documents for you. I’d say that this scenario might apply to general notary needs but not real estate.

No state in the country allows a $25 fee per notarization so this is absolutely wrong.
I make a good living notarizing all the documents for frustrated clients that were turned away by there banks. My experience is that banks don't like real estate docs or deeds in general.
