  1. Hello everyone! I made a mistake in the video. I want to clarify that you put "Authorized Agent" and not notary public. You use the companies address and not your address. I apologize for any confusion and will upload a new video soon.

  2. Thank you so much this helped! I was just asked to do this from a signing service.
    I did find the following from NNA because I didn't think we were supposed to use Notary Public as our title when not doing notorial acts.
    This is what NNA says:
    The authorized representative does not perform a notarization or affix a Notary seal to the I-9, since they are not acting as an official Notary Public. In the title field in Section 2, the Notary should write β€œauthorized representative"
    Is it just a state variable?

  3. Question: An employer requested that I obtain an authorized representative on their behalf to fill section 2 out. I’m not use to the procedure and irs sites clearly states that’s the employers task. Does this procedure sound normal?
