So CT is $5 per act and .35 cents per mile travel limit, how on earth are mobile notaries suppose to make money that way. Are there any other fees we can charge on top of that?
how can I charge as a notary in the state of Texas? can someone please clarify? is it 6/ for first signature 1/every additional sig, and then the seals remain $6 per seal? can I charge a base amount for my time and travel?
If my job is paying for me to become a notary, am I allowed to charge within my company for everything I need to sign?
I am curious; if other bigger businesses are charging less than us "little guys," then how do you get clients if you do charge over the state's limit because of adding fees? As an everyday person, I would simply go to a place with no fees.
In the state of Maryland, Im only allowed to charge a travel fee of $5 max plus $0.56/mile and only $4/seal. I hate it here.
The charge for Ohio is $5/seal… it may have gone up since you made this video.
Maryland makes you go by the IRS travel fee
Thank so much for your information.. you are a gem and is very appreciated because you throughly explain
Thank you for all you do! I felt so overwhelmed with all the information that is available. I am developing the systematic protocols to my NSA business my tools, how much at minimal will, how far I am willing to travel, etc. I am so ready to get started and having you here sis helps me bring my business system together and feel I am not going at it alone, THANK YOU SO MUCH! You are going to help so many newbies, girl! You keep it simple and explain every thoroughly which helps us to overall prepare for our opening day at Official Seal & Stamp Pro Signing Services in Colorado Springs
Hi there, how do you suggest we keep track of the charges? A spreadsheet? A receipt book? Thank you
I wish I could see what it says for Virginia!!
when you charge someone a notary fee or any fee, how do they pay you? Can it be through cash app or something like that?
In NC we can't charge for anything else, and it's not $5 per seal, it $5 per signature, but if you have a business you can charge for mileage
In Maryland it’s $4 and a little over .50 cents per mile for mobile notaries with $5 being the max to charge per mile! For GNW that doesn’t sound too great. Are there more fees you can charge for doing GNW?
Omg, I had no idea this was the case but it makes total sense. I came across the charge schedule for California when I was studying for my test and I wondered how notaries made a living charging this little. Now I know!
Hello…should I get a LLc to be a travel notary?
Hey Vanessa! I didn’t see this information in the Notary2Notary training & I’m unsure how much I should be charging for my services especially the loan documents. Will you be making this info available in the training again soon??
Do you train for apostille?
Unfortunately not in nevada, we are allowed to charge 10 dollars an hour for travel during the day and 25 at night! Nevada has a lot of restrictions
I should've known Illinois was going to have it to where you can barely make money it's like they want everybody to be poor in this greedy ass state
Ohio is $5 now
Thank you so much for clarifying that….the difference in how the pay scale is…including being a mobile notary.
👍👍
Thank you for such informative videos. I’m in the process of getting started and following your videos have been very helpful. Question… Can you use an IPad for E signings?
Love your info.
Hello, I am in NJ. I can charge 2.50. When I add my mileages for the mobile can I do 1$ a mile? what should I start with?
Do you have link to part 2 or more info on charging for travel. Any knowledge of max in Arizona?
Can you charge for travel and claim mileage on your taxes?
Hello there. I thought you charged per signature? I am a Notary Public in California. $15 per signature. I had to get something notarized with the County Registrar Recorders office and I suppose either I was confused or the Notary herself was confused. She charged me for my signature which equaled to be $30. I had to sign two papers. Does the notary supposed to charge me for her signature or for my signature. It’s may be really dumb on my part, but if you don’t know, you don’t know. By the way I am new and have not had a chance to really start practicing this craft. Anyone that know the answer to my question please let me know. I would appreciate it. Thanks
